Hershey's Chocolate Frosting

I found this little treasure on the back of a Hershey's Cocoa can! I used it on my Daughters chocolate Birthday cake today, and she loved it!  It is really good and super easy to make.

Maryanna and her cake!

1 stick (1/2 cup)  butter
3 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2/3 cup Hershey's cocoa
1/3 cup milk

Melt the butter. Alternate adding in the powdered sugar and the milk into the butter, beating on med.  Then you stir in the vanilla.  Now spread it on your favorite cake and enjoy.

Chocolate Crinkles

These cookies didn’t last very long around our house.

3 eggs
1 ½ cups granulated sugar
4 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted
½ cup cooking oil
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
Powdered sugar

In a large bowl beat eggs, granulated sugar, chocolate, oil, baking powder, and vanilla until well mixed.

Mix in the flour a little at a time.  Then you need to cover and chill the dough for 1-2 hours or until it’s easy to handle.

Shape the dough into 1-inch balls and coat generously with the powdered sugar. Place each ball about an inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake @ 375 for 8-10 min. Cool on wire rack and then watch them disappear!
