Apple Bread Muffins...

    These muffins are wonderful and they make the house smell great!






 1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 cup sugar
1 cup finely shredded peeled apple
1/4 cup oil
1 egg
1/2 cup chopped walnuts(optional)*



In a mixing bowl mix the flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and nutmeg.
In another small bowl mix the shredded apple, oil, sugar, and the egg. Mix well.
Add the flour mixture;stir untill just combined.
Stir in chopped walnuts
Spoon 1 tbs.of the mixture into muffin tin and bake at 350 for 30-35 min.
Let them cool on a wire rack for 10 min. Now enjoy!

 I have never made these muffins with the walnuts, my husband is alergic to nuts. So if you use choose to use them let me know what you think.

Thanksgiving.



         Today as you cook and prepare for family and friends, don't forget to thank the Lord for your many blessings in your life. Some of lifes greatest blessing are sometimes overlooked in our day to day lives, Family, friends, fellowship, bountiful food, Salvation,and The Bible. Just to name a few. One-Bowl Chocolate Cake

This chocolate cake is super
easy and really rich!

1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
½ cup cocoa powder
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
¾ cup milk
1/3 cup cooking oil
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
1 can of your favorite icing


Grease and lightly flour a 9x1½ in. round pan
or a 8x8x2 in. square pan.


 
Now in a large bowl mix all the dry ingredients.


Add milk, oil, and vanilla. Mix until well blended
then add the egg and mix for 2 min.


Pour mixture into your prepared pan,
and bake @350 for 30-35 min. 


Cool on a wire rack for 10 min.  Then ice with favorite icing.
(Chocolate icing was really good on it!)
